Ingredients

  • veggies
  • fresh herbs
  • spices
  • 2 cloves garlic (more or less)
  • 1 cup vinegar (any kind)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (optional)

Cook

  1. mix salt, sugar, water, and vinegar in a pot
  2. Boil over medium heat until salt disolved
  3. chop/slice vegies and back into jars(s)
  4. pour brine over veggies
  5. pack/tap to get out air bubbles.
  6. refridgerate 48hours or more
